Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions :
- Evaluate existing spaces.
- Program new facilities and evaluate existing spaces.
- Ensure efficient utilization of available space, considering unit requirements, building conditions and mission dependencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Mandatory :
Five (5) year Bachelor or a Master’s degree in architecture from an NCARB Accredited University and meets the Position Classification Standards for Community Planner Series (0020); OR Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning or Political Science from an Accredited PAB University; OR a bachelor’s or higher degree in a major appropriate to the community-planning field.Five (5) years of experience in general construction with expertise in civil, electrical, and mechanical work.Completion of WMGT 519 and WENG 400.Must be able to acquire and maintain a Secret Security clearance.Shall be present on base during normal duty hours and available for after-hour responses.Ability to acquire and maintain government identification / common access card.Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.Valid state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.Ability to successfully pass any background checks and / or drug testing required on the contract.Must be able to read, write and speak English.U.S. Citizenship.Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).Reasonable Accommodation :
