Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in architecture, engineering, or manufacturing environments. Proven expertise in using Confluence for documentation creation, management, and collaboration. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex concepts clearly and succinctly. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with CAD software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Revit and the ability to read and understand architectural / engineering drawings and schematics . Experience with other collaborative tools like Confluence, Jira , Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, or facility layouts. Knowledge of systems engineer concepts such as requirements management and risk management. Experience working with DoD and other government organizations.

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical documentation . This role requires a deep understanding of engineering and architectural concepts and manufacturing facility design, translating technical jargon into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for a variety of stakeholders.
As a Technical Writer you will be responsible for compiling the technical details of multiple projects involving the manufacturing of solid rocket moto rs and the facilities to support those operations . In this role you will work closely with a diverse team or engineers, architects, and designers to document and communicate design decisions and process descriptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including process diagrams , design standards, project reports, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Create and manage documentation workflows within MS Office and Confluence, ensuring consistency and accessibility across teams.
- Translate complex technical information into accessible language for diverse audiences, including c ustomers , contractors, and internal teams.
- Organize and maintain a centralized repository of documentation, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and easily retrievable.
- Assist in the development of process documentation , presentations, and process documentation.
- Support proposals and project deliverables with high-quality written content that aligns with company standards.
