FNF Construction is hiring for the on-site role of Payroll Coordinator at its Corporate office in Tempe, AZ. This position's primary role is to coordinate weekly payrolls for a multi-state employer with 800 employees. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with in-house and corporate employee benefit programs. Being the primary touchpoint for employee questions and concerns as they relate to payroll and benefits inquiries requires this role to possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of company personnel. Applicants will be required to provide verifiable business references and / or letters of recommendation. Final candidate will undergo a thorough background check and a pre-employment drug & alcohol screen.
Notes : No relocation will be offered for this position. Local candidates only. This full-time position is considered salaried and is exempt from FLSA overtime provisions.
- Knowledge of the general policies and practices of construction / heavy highway companies.

- Ability to provide technical guidance and training to end users relative to the Payroll process.
- Current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws; to include COBRA and FMLA legislation.
- Knowledge of automated payroll systems and trends in timekeeping methods.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personnel in a diverse work community.
- Top-notch organizing and coordinating skills.
- Ability to provide consistent and insightful training on payroll and benefit issues
