Job descriptionDevelop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed sales targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries and markets. Provide customized solutions by understanding customer applications, requirements, and challenges. Maintain an in-depth understanding of Polymershapes' product offerings, including plastic materials, machining services, and manufacturing capabilities. Educate customers on product features, benefits, and applications to ensure proper material selection. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for competitive advantage. Collaborate with internal teams to develop pricing strategies and identify new product opportunities. Work closely with internal teams, including customer service, operations, and technical support, to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities in the CRM system. Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education. Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in plastics, manufacturing, or industrial markets. Strong knowledge of plastic materials, applications, and distribution channels is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset. Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to build long-term partnerships. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in selling industrial or technical products. Knowledge of industries that utilize plastics, such as automotive, aerospace, construction, and healthcare. Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented with a passion for sales. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in complex situations. Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
