What You'll Be Doing :

As a B2B Business Development Specialist, you'll build on our extensive base of large companies, government agencies, and special events to grow our business. Our existing A+ customer base is rich with opportunities for expansion and preferred vendor e-procurement. You'll also explore and grow untapped clients and segments. We're looking for an A+ player who is passionate about growing business and has a proven track record.

Key Duties & Accountabilities :

  • Develop new customers and segments.
  • Grow sales through existing customers.
  • Develop and deploy client engagement and expansion strategies.
  • Ensure day-to-day follow-up and accountability within the Customer Service and maintain enthusiasm, speed, knowledge, and OES's exceptional service commitment.
  • Collaborate with our management team to develop new products and services as opportunities arise.
  • Develop and track outreach KPIs, analyze statistics, and compile accurate reports.
  • Manage resources and utilize assets to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets.
  • Maintain orderly workflow based on business and customer priorities.
  • Outreach Duties & Accountabilities :

  • Develop and implement call lists for yourself
  • Manage daily outreach activities and report weekly with data and results.
  • Maintain a constant flow of targets and lists from both existing and new customers.
  • Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets.
  • Continuously improve systems and processes.
  • Research, identify, and qualify the best value sources of leads, lead funnels, and new sales segments.
  • Essential Functions :

  • Keep accurate records and document outreach actions and discussions.
  • Prepare proposals and miscellaneous correspondence.
  • Actively participate as a member of the Customer Service and Outreach Team.
  • Stay ahead of industry developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement.
  • Keep the executive team, office, and warehouse teams updated on trends, potential service issues, and opportunities.
  • Encourage team collaboration with internal customers.

    Educational / Training Requirements / Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in high level customer service or B2B business development.
  • Excellent knowledge of sales tactics and strategies with proven success in B2B short sales cycles.
  • Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Ability Requirements :
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for action.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Teams.
