Research Associate
Job Description
This position is in the St. Louis Production Genotyping lab. You will work collaboratively with a large production team of full-time employees and contractors to achieve daily and weekly genotyping targets under tight deadlines. Your primary responsibility will be operating manual and automated lab processes in a sequencing library creation lab. Additional tasks may include sample preparation, sequencing, qPCR, general lab stocking, and supply upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual and automated lab equipment for sequencing library creation.
- Assist in the care and maintenance of lab equipment.
- Help with the receipt, inspection, ordering, and stocking of raw materials.
- Process samples through sequencing library preparation.
- Prepare and stock lab consumables.
- Ensure the lab runs smoothly by performing various support tasks as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00 / hr.
