Job Title : Press Operator

Job Description

As a Press Operator, you will review job specifications for material and set-up requirements, perform or delegate set-up tasks, and monitor the equipment and product throughout the job run to ensure a high-quality product. You will also perform moderately complex troubleshooting related to product or equipment and communicate effectively during the shift and at shift hand-off.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in company safety programs and contribute to a safe culture.
• Perform training as needed.
• Meet or exceed established quality and productivity standards utilizing standard work procedures.
• Implement, perform, and sustain housekeeping procedures to maintain the work area and equipment.
• Participate in project teams as needed.
• Recommend and implement process improvements.
• Fill in for other Operators as needed, including covering absences or breaks.
