Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent professional qualification is required with minimum 5 years of experience. Prior experience as a Finance Business Partner and tourism industry will be an added advantage. Meticulous with a strong analytical mind and ability to work under pressure to meet tight schedules. Excellent communication, management and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of various stakeholders. Self-motivated with a “sense-of-urgency” and "hands-on" approach. Able to adapt to changing needs and processes to learn and grow alongside the business.
Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renowned wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces, and an eco-friendly resort.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Act as Finance business partner to business units and chiefs across the organisation.
- Proactively engage and partner various stakeholders on the annual budget and forecast to ensure robust planning and performance management.
- Provide value-added analysis and advice on key business planning and budget assumptions and drive the financial aspects of the business strategic plans, budgets and forecasts whilst ensuring alignment to the business plans.
- To perform financial modelling on new business proposals and evaluate its financial viability.
- Monitor, review and provide variance analysis for the monthly financials in terms of achievement vs budget and understand the data points for the results, highlighting risks and opportunities against budget delivery and recommend actions needed (where appropriate).
- To perform any other duties as assigned.
