What You'll Do

Manages purchase orders (PO) for various outside vendors, etc. and tracks until paid

Request supporting documentation when necessary from supplier, accounts payable, Receiving, or end user

Stay abreast of industry and market trends for assigned sourcing projects

Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal department stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to the procurement of goods and services

Communicate effectively with internal & external customers

What You'll Need

Ability to forecast short and long-term buying of material to meet on-time delivery schedules to our consumers

Buying / selling skill and product knowledge

Sense of teamwork as well as independent initiative required

Proficient in MS Office Suite

Must have effective listening and verbal skills to identify important information and to engage with internal and external customers

6+ years procurement or related experience, preferred

Your Education

High School Diploma or GED required
