What You'll Do

  • Manages purchase orders (PO) for various outside vendors, etc. and tracks until paid
  • Request supporting documentation when necessary from supplier, accounts payable, Receiving, or end user
  • Stay abreast of industry and market trends for assigned sourcing projects
  • Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal department stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to the procurement of goods and services
  • Communicate effectively with internal & external customers
  • What You'll Need

  • Ability to forecast short and long-term buying of material to meet on-time delivery schedules to our consumers
  • Buying / selling skill and product knowledge
  • Sense of teamwork as well as independent initiative required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Must have effective listening and verbal skills to identify important information and to engage with internal and external customers
  • 6+ years procurement or related experience, preferred
  • Your Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
