Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Respiratory Therapist is essential in delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care. This role includes performing diagnostic tests, administering therapies, and monitoring patients on mechanical ventilation.

Your responsibilities will include :

Conducting thorough patient assessments, documenting findings, and evaluating the need for respiratory therapy.

Administering therapies like oxygen and aerosol medication, as well as performing chest physiotherapy.

Assisting in the placement of artificial airways and managing mechanical ventilation.

Monitoring patient responses and notifying the care team if any issues arise.

Transporting patients who are dependent on ventilators safely.

Responding to emergency situations with effective airway management and resuscitation efforts.

Qualifications :

Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Licensure as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.

Basic Cardiac Life Support or CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
