Job descriptionHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred Previous warehouse and forklift experience is a plus. 2 years’ experience operating a powered industrial truck OSHA certification preferable, employer certification also considered Primary skills would include experience with counterbalance or stand up forklift, order picker, and carton clamp attachment Other powered industrial truck skills will also be considered Safe, verifiable operating history from previous employer would be appreciated Typical work schedules are Mon-Fri. A forklift operator transports merchandise using a forklift truck or reach truck to designated locations within the warehouse. Responsibilities :
- Loading / unloading trucks, stocking, order filling, and other related tasks
- Must be able to lift, load and dolly 50-300lbs
- Perform physical labor up to 10 hours per day
- Operates a powered forklift truck on a regular and continuous basis to move merchandise or equipment in a distribution center
