Responsibilities

  • Ability to understand the needs and financial concerns of clients
  • Ability to educate clients on how to plan ahead for the future financially so that they are prepared for unfortunate life events / circumstances they may encounter
  • Promote customized ways for clients to achieve their long-term financial goals
  • Cultivating relationships, with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial security
  • Ability to build an insurance and financial practice through establishing professional networks and prospecting for new clients
  • Providing compassion and guidance to clients when life circumstances arise
  • Having a clear focus on developing and maintaining long-term bonds with clients, resulting in trust and continuity of community over time
  • Customize financial plans for each client based on his or her professional / work circumstances, life stage, and evolving financial needs
  • Be a coachable, organized team member interested in pursuing training development and educational opportunities
  • Provide strategic recommendations for products, plans, investments, and other methods to help clients achieve financial goals
  • Look for, identify, and secure new clients to serve as a trusted advisor for crucial financial decisions
  • Work directly with clients to compile financial profiles that allow you to provide sound financial advice based on each person's individual financial status, income, financial goals, and other factors contributing to wealth management

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated sales experience or an enterprising attitude
  • Excellent communicative skills, both written and verbal
  • Dedicated to helping families and businesses live their best life
  • Knowledgeable about the business industry
  • Well-presented and professional in all interactions
  • Resilient and determined when faced with adversity
  • Skilled in leveraging personal connections and networks to build relationships
  • Must be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the US
  • Stellar communication and math skills complemented by a proven track record of building strong client relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Basic understanding of the role of a financial advisor or financial consultant, as well interest in the financial industry and financial products is necessary
  • Though not required, a valid FINRA Series 7 & 63 / 66 license is considered a plus
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or other related field
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, financial planning software, Google Suite, and other tools strongly preferred
