Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and specialty drinks.
  • Maintain an organized and clean bar area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Engage with guests to provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure satisfaction with their drink selections.
  • Manage cash handling processes accurately, including operating the cash register and processing payments.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate drink pairings with menu items during events or banquets.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new cocktail recipes to enhance the beverage menu.
  • Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, particularly during peak hours in nightclubs or event settings.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a hospitality or craft cocktail bar, is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, cocktail recipes, and food safety regulations.
  • Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help teammates as needed.
  • Certification in food handling or safety is a plus but not required.
