Overview
Responsible for directing and overseeing financial strategies and activities of the Industrial Business within the Clean energy and Infrastructure Segment at Mastec. Includes preparation of current financial reports as well as summaries and forecast for future business growth for the company and its related group of companies. Serve as the Finance business partner for the EVP of Industrial and the representative of finance on the Industrial Leadership team. Serve as senior level mentor for accounting / finance efforts across the business. Responsible for the efficiency and accuracy as well as process improvements that will support the growth of Industrial and Mastec Clean Energy.
The location of this position is flexible, based on the identified candidate (Denver, CO; Vancouver, WA; Austin, TX; or Houston, TX). This position will have up to 25% travel to regional office locations. This role is eligible for an annual incentive plan and vehicle allowance.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
10-15 years’ experience and / or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
CPA certification required
Experience as Corporate Controller, subsidiary controller as part of a large company or equivalent
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the company’s Zero Injury principles
Strong computer skills, specifically Excel
Extensive knowledge in all aspects of construction accounting
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills along with an attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and professionalism
Ability to handle multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines and prioritize workload in a fast-paced dynamic environment
A proven leader in mentoring and developing accounting staff
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to interact with multiple personalities at all levels within the organization
Preparation of reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, executives and the general public
Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Work well under pressure and ability to meet timelines and deadlines
