Job description

We are a precision contract machining company looking for a highly skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in turning or milling operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Setup and Operation : Set up and run CNC Lathe or Milling machines, ensuring all parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Blueprint Interpretation : Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine part dimensions and setup requirements.
  • Process Optimization : Determine the best processes, tools, and programming techniques to produce high-quality parts efficiently.
  • Collaboration : Assist other operators and machinists, sharing your expertise to ensure the smooth operation of the team.
  • Quality Control : Inspect your own work, troubleshoot issues, and recommend optimal cutting tools to enhance production efficiency.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : 5+ years of experience as a Machinist, with strong expertise in Turning or Milling. Job shop experience is preferred.
  • Technical Skills : Familiarity with a variety of metals, especially working with tight tolerances.
  • Self-Management : Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Quality Focus : Must possess the ability to inspect work accurately, troubleshoot issues, and suggest improvements.
