Job description
  • Service medical instrumentation for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd. Current Field Service experience is also required. Experience servicing Medical Devices is preferred. You will be installing & servicing automated robotic medical instrumentation in the greater New York City area. Base salary 70K - 85K depending on experience (overtime & performance bonus should add an additional 4K - 8K annually, possibly more.).
  • You must currently reside in the greater New York City area, preferably in the Bronx, Brooklyn, NYC, or Queens areas (No Long Island).....NO RELOCATION Qualifications :
  • A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is a preferred.
  • Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Some overnight travel may be required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer
  • Experience servicing medical medical instrumentation would be a plus.

  • Responsibilities :

    • Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
    • Establish a good customer relations foundation.
    • Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group
    • Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
    • Provides  basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation .
