Position Type :
Full-time, hour workweek.
1.) Weekday evening shift, working every other weekend : 4 : 00pm-12 : 00am
2.) Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays; 10 : 00pm-8 : 00am
Must be flexible to meet the needs of a 24 / 7 facility.
Position Location : Homestead, PA.
In our DAS program we provide short-term residential and mental health treatment for adults, 18 years and older. The program provides support to the DAS residents with daily living activities, medication / health needs and in coordinating recreational opportunities. The program offers a structured residential treatment setting where individuals can make significant improvements in stability while developing the foundation for ongoing recovery. You will be a team leader with a multidisciplinary team by providing daily assignments to DAS colleagues, and support to residents. The DAS Psychiatric Technician position is designed to :
- Encourage each resident to work on their goals daily, such as participating in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities to enhance their lives.
- Monitor each person’s physical and emotional well-being, handling de-escalation and emergency interventions when necessary,
- Develop and teach strategies to promote consumer wellness and independence.
- Collaborate with the treatment team including but not limited to psychiatrist, therapist, rehab coach, and supports coordinators.

- Prospective employees hired for a full time position will receive a $2,500 sign on bonus. The employee will receive the first third after the successful completion of three (3) months of employment, the second third will be awarded after the successful completion of six (6) months of employment, and the final third will be awarded after achieving a "satisfactory" rating or higher on the annual performance evaluation.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Social / Human Services or related field required .Valid Driver's License & Driving History (MVR), 3 years of previous driving experience required.Prior experience working in social services with adults who have drug and alcohol, forensic, and / or mental health issues preferred.18 years of age or older required.
