JOB FUNCTION :
The Investment Officer will support the Senior Portfolio Manager with all aspects of portfolio management including research, portfolio management, trade execution and assisting with similar functions for the Jefferson Bank Trust department when necessary.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Place Mutual Fund, ETF and equity trades through Charles Schwab and alternative venues
- Handle trade correction processing, reporting and analysis
- Handle incoming inquiries from advisor teams related to the troubleshooting and review of complex account and data discrepancies
- Review accounts as contributions, distributions, asset allocation changes or other changes occur to ensure accounts are in line with investment policy statement.
- Monitor and audit cash balances :
Track uninvested cash and make recommendations.
Monitor and resolve overdrafts.Assist Portfolio Management team with trading support when necessary for 1900 Clients and JB TrustLeverage financial planning tools to assist clients in crafting comprehensive retirement plans that align with their unique needs and aspirations.Monitor investment strategies, strategy changes, market and economic outlook, cash management strategy, and strategy performance.Support third party investment manager research and due diligence to include annual reviews, quarterly performance reviews, and necessary due diligence when onboarding a new third party manager.Assist with portfolio construction, including the divestiture of existing assets and transition from one investment strategy to another, with a particular emphasis on taxable impacts.Prepare investment performance reports and presentations as needed for client meetings and client responses.Remain abreast of market and economic developments.Participate in marketing outreach including public relations, communications, and events.Work collaboratively with 1900 Wealth team members and across Jefferson Bank.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor's degreeActive Series 65, or acceptable exemption or certification as required by the job requirementsCFP designation preferredEquipment / Machines / Software
Excellent computer literacy in Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).Knowledge of Bloomberg a plus.Proficiency in Adobe Reader.Experience with internet, search engines, browsers and general PC connectivity.Ability to work with office equipment such as copiers, scanners, shredders, fax and other electronic devices.Competency Requirements
