IGT is seeking an efficient and committed Material Handler - Finished Goods I to join our team at our Reno logistics facility. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience with materials and equipment, and to learn the streamlined processes that keep our operations running smoothly. You will be responsible for moving raw materials, supporting production lines, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This role involves working across various areas such as receiving, shipping, and production support, all while delivering exceptional service to ensure our logistics operations meet the highest standards.

  • Operate heavy machinery, light equipment, and handheld tools to efficiently move materials and parts throughout the facility.
  • Use SAP and other computer systems to document processes, maintain accurate records, and enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough visual inspections of electronic gaming machines to identify and report any cosmetic defects.
  • Assist in keeping production lines running smoothly by storing and organizing incoming freight.
  • Maintain and organize inventory in designated work areas to ensure accurate stock levels and readiness for production or delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing certification and training to safely and effectively operate all powered industrial truck equipment.
  • Follow and uphold all safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Up to 1 year of manufacturing experience with warehousing / inventory control.
  • Must be able to pick up parts under a tight schedule with minimal errors.
  • Must be able to work with very heavy workloads.
  • Must have forklift experience.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be able to stand a full shift and work overtime as required.
