Audio Software Engineer Full Stack Intern (Summer 2025)

Summary

As an Audio Software Intern in the Dolby Consumer Entertainment Group, you be part of a team that enables Dolby’s partners to design and build world class living room entertainment products based on a new generation of Dolby Technologies. This role is for Enhanced Consumer Devices and Innovation team. Innovation is at the core of this team’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Work with microphone capture systems and microphone array post processing.
• Work on spatial audio rendering technologies.
• Develop and maintain software tools.
• Assist in prototyping audio systems such as TV, soundbars, smart speakers etc.
• Build test tools which measure acoustic performance of consumer entertainment products that include premium Dolby technologies.
• Review system architectures and system behaviors

ELIGIBILITY

Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be available to work full-time Monday – Friday for 6 months between May / June 2025 – December 2025.

The San Francisco / Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $48-55 / hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
