Primary Services is actively recruiting for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to support a large organization expanding its operations in Plaquemines Parish, LA. This role is critical in talent acquisition, compliance, employee relations, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-growth industrial settings and a strategic mindset focused on innovative HR solutions that enhance company culture and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the HR point of contact for the Plaquemines facility.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including creating job descriptions, sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leadership and employees on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  • Advise on compliance and employment law matters to ensure adherence to federal and local regulations.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Administer HR and benefits programs, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company culture while maintaining compliance with legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of HR generalist experience, with a strong understanding of HR’s impact on business success.
  • 3+ years of talent acquisition experience in a high-growth environment, including job mapping, interview process management, and offer presentation.
  • Industrial or manufacturing HR experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to coach employees and leaders on effective workplace interactions.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach to HR challenges.
  • Experience with modern ATS and HRIS platforms; Greenhouse and / or ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.
