Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Riggers for projects located in the Gregory, TX area . This is a full time opportunity and the pay rate is up to $35.50 / hour based on experience and skill level.If you are a Rigger eager to master your skills while working alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope :

Loads, transports, unloads and assists in selecting all rigging tackle, according to weight and size of load to be moved

Attaches pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams, ceilings and gin pole booms, with bolts and clamps

Attaches loads with appropriate rigging tackle to crane hook

Gives directions to Crane Operator engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and material handlers, using hand signals, or radio communications

Assists Crane Operator in assembly and disassembly of cranes

Loads, transports and unloads materials, tools, equipment and supplies

Cleans and maintains tools, equipment and work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary

Performs minor maintenance or cleaning activities on tools and equipment

Plans and coordinates movement of cranes and set up

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience

Must take a virtual electrical assessment

Must be able to rig unsupervised, be in charge for medium risk lifts, and communicate / signal the crane operators safely

NCCER Intermediate and / or Advanced Rigger Certification

NCCER Signal Person Certification
