Job description

We're looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Production Assistant in our shop environment. Job Summary :

The Production Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks within our shop, including the disassembly, cleaning, and assembly of mechanical and electro-mechanical parts. You will also play a key role in our receiving, packing, and storage processes. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Disassemble mechanical and electro-mechanical parts.
  • Clean and wash mechanical and electro-mechanical parts.
  • Assist with receiving shipments.
  • Pack and prepare items for shipping.
  • Place items in designated warehouse locations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Quick learner with a positive attitude.
  • Experience working in a shop or similar environment.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

    • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :

  • Exceptional mechanical aptitude.
  • Highly competent using common hand tools.
  • Experience using larger shop tools (e.g., drill press, lathe, media blaster, mill, hydraulic press) preferred.
  • Ability to disassemble, clean, and reassemble mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Experience working within a quality management system (e.g., ISO9001) is a plus.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Proficient with Windows-based PCs and basic programs.
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and manage multiple projects.
  • strong teamwork and decision-making skills.

    • Desirable Skills :

  • Soldering & de-soldering skills.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Hobbyist experience in building, repairing, or fabricating (e.g., cars, motorcycles, electric vehicles).
