This position is not remote and will require direct, hands-on involvement in various settings such as schools, homes, and community environments.
As a BCBA with ABA by Design, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing behavioral assessment and treatment services. You will work closely with behavior technicians and families to ensure a cohesive approach to therapy and interventions. Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral assessments, including but not limited to Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP).
- Develop and oversee the implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Monitor and review data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards.
- Collaborate with family members and other professionals to ensure consistency in the application of behavior-analytic techniques.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of the clients' progress.
- Recommend and sometimes deliver educational programs and behavior strategies for behavior modification in home and other natural environments.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines related to behavioral health practice.
- Partake in regular professional development to stay abreast of latest research and techniques in the field of behavior analysis.
- Assist in the development of strategic planning in relation to behavioral health services offered by ABA by Design.
Requirements
Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.Proven experience as a BCBA, preferably in a multi-disciplinary team setting.In-depth knowledge of behavior analytic theories and principles.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership qualities and the ability to manage and motivate others.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate high ethical standards.Flexibility to work with various individuals in different environments (e.g., homes, schools).Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as traveling to client sites is required.Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintenance of BCBA credentials.
