Job Description

he Project Manager has overall leadership responsibility for the planning and delivery of moderately complex internal, product development, and client projects. This position requires a high level of leadership, planning, communication skills and problem solving skills. The Project Manager is responsible for ongoing productive client / stakeholder relationships and providing the leadership and discipline to achieve the combined client / stakeholder and objectives. This position is responsible for project schedule and completion, client relationship management, allocation of resources, financial management and consulting with stakeholder on issue resolution.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience
3+ years experience with the following :

Leading information and business systems projects

Developing project management methodologies

Leading complex projects / programs

IS application integration or infrastructure

Project Management (MPM, PMP etc.) and / or ITIL Certification preferred

Knowledge of :

Project Management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile and Lean, as well as frameworks including Scrum and Kanban

Various project management tools to develop a comprehensive project work plan such as Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS), cash flow analysis, Gantt and network diagrams, and resource schedules; and

Techniques such as the Critical Path Method to assess and report on risks in project schedule; knowledge of corrective action steps to reduce risks and mitigate problems

Proven ability to :

lead and facilitate tough discussions and develop and present professional presentations with management and customers

effectively communicate and build strong business relationships with all levels inside and outside the organization; and

effectively create an effective team environment, negotiate, solve problems and conflicts, and manage resources

Strong financial, management, and organization development skills

Excellent customer service skills, with ability to work in a team environment and rapidly changing environment
