Job description

Cross Country Workforce Solutions Group (CCWSG) is looking for experienced housekeeping professionals for a busy hospital in Chicago (Near West Side & Tri-Taylor).

You will be an essential part of our team, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include :

  • Performing cleaning tasks in patient rooms, restrooms, and public areas using appropriate cleaning methods and techniques.
  • Operating cleaning equipment and using tools and supplies efficiently and safely.
  • Adhering to infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illness.
  • Managing your time effectively to complete tasks promptly.
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

What we offer :

  • 40 hours per week
  • Night shift 11pm-7 : 30am
  • Competitive salary - Pay up to $20 / hour depending on experience.
  • Eligible for Benefits after 60 days.
  • Paid every Friday!
  • Target Start July 22nd, End of assignment October 10th.
  • 13 week contract with potential renewal

    • You're Probably a Match if You Have

  • At least one year of EVS (Environmental Services) Housekeeping experience within the last 12 months.
  • Proven experience with various cleaning methods and techniques, equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices and the importance of maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle a busy workload.
  • Strong teamwork abilities to work harmoniously with others.
  • Previous experience working in a hospital setting is preferred but not required; experience in hotels, industrial settings, or schools is also acceptable.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
