LaSalle Network is currently partnering with a health organization that focuses on Alzheimer’s care. They are seeking a Hardware Specialist to join their team. This position is based in Chicago and the position will be expected to be onsite. This is a contract opportunity.
Hardware Specialist Responsibilities :
- Deploy Windows O / S and applications to Windows workstations (laptops, desktops, tablets) for home office and remote offices; troubleshoot and resolve imaging issues
- Package and ship workstations and peripherals to remote chapter offices and remote employees working in home offices; provide tracking information as requested
- Process new equipment shipments and equipment returns; record relevant asset-related data in asset management and UEM systems
- Help to maintain in-store inventory of workstations and peripherals in the Chicago home office
- Help to maintain the security and cleanliness of the imaging lab
- Help to maintain the integrity of asset management systems; correct data issues as discovered and communicate issues to manager
- Work with helpdesk ticketing system to process incoming computer requests in a timely manner; complete tickets within the time proscribed by established SLAs; provide weekly updates to users for pending and on-hold tickets
- Install and remove hard drives, ram sticks and other workstation components
- Troubleshoot and repair basic hardware and software issues on workstations and peripherals
Hardware Specialist Requirements :
3 years of experience working with Windows desktop and helpdesk ticketing systems2 years of experience working with computer imagingCertifications in CompTIA A+, Network+ beneficialSolid experience with managing windows imaging and deploymentSolid knowledge of Windows workstations including software installation and basic hardware repairsIf you have the experience listed above, possess a great attitude and are looking for an opportunity with a stable and established employer, this is the role for you!
