Description of Job Duties
The Graduate Assistant will support the College’s strategic plan to foster an affinity to the campus through leadership, dialogue, civic engagement, and scholarship, and by working closely with undergraduate concentrations.
Essential Functions :
1. Assist with drafting and / or delivering communications such as the annual report, newsletters, and social media.
2. Marketing efforts for our academic program (LEV Fellows, Leadership concentration, Majors / Minors).
3. Assist or lead any LEV-related programs, events and activities
4. Mentor student workers and support any events or tasks led by the student workers
5. Assist faculty with any administrative duties : make copies, develop and disseminate printed materials for LEV programs, etc. Do the job duties for this position have any potential exposure to student records? Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills required.
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Intermediate skills using MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
