Custodian / Janitor

Snelling is in search of an experienced Custodian for a local High School in the Grand Rapids area!

2nd shift available Full and Part time shifts, $16.50 per hour

Full or Part time positions are available!

A clear drug screen and clear background check is a must for this position!

Responsibilities of the Custodian :

• Experience in all phases of cleaning and basic building maintenance
• Excellent attendance record
• Must work well independently with minimum amount of supervision
• Interpersonal skills
• Organization skills
• Problem solving skills
• An appreciation for diversity
• Willing to work flexible hours / overtime hours / some weekends
• High school diploma
• Perform daily cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash, restrooms, snow removal
• Set up for and clean up after special activities
• Safety and security of building
• Knowledge of operation of floor care equipment or willingness to learn
