Job description

Job Title : Insurance Associate

Job Location : Saint Petersburg, FL-33716

Job Duration : 3 months contract

This position is hybrid onsite 2-3 days per week - Local candidates only

Strictly temporary

Laptop provided

Full-time role 8 AM- 5 PM (negotiable)

Under limited supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to maintain database records related to insurance for multi-family residential properties. Ensure various types of insurance are current and coverage meets partnership and investor requirements. Communicate with property management companies, general partners, insurance agents, and AHI Asset Managers as needed. Recommends solutions to moderately complex problems. Extensive contact with internal customers is required to obtain, clarify and provide facts and information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducts analysis of insurance documentation to identify irregularities and ensure compliance with organizational and investor rules and regulations.
  • Evaluates variances between required versus actual coverages.
  • Uses proprietary database to maintain insurance records.
  • Prepares schedules and provides requested information for management.
  • Prepares and tracks communications to management companies, general partners, and insurance agents.
  • Coordinates follow-up activities for multiple associates across multiple functional areas.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills : Knowledge of

  • Standard Office skills.
  • Database software packages or ability to learn specific applications.
  • Insurance industry and terminology.
  • Skill in

  • Insurance for multi-family housing preferred
  • Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, electronic communication and spreadsheets.

  • Education :

    Education / Previous Experience

  • Associate's degree and / or at least 5 years of relevant experience. ~or~
  • Any equivalent combination of experience, education and / or training approved by Human Resources.
