Overview

Compucom Systems, Inc. provides end-to-end IT managed services to enable the digital workplace for enterprise, midsize and small businesses. We’re looking for a DesktopTechnician III to join our team.

As a Desktop Technician III your primary responsibility is ticket processing and resolution management, which includes detailed and clear documentation of the problems and the actions taken to resolve them. You will provide onsite technical assistance to the Executive team and their direct reports by answering questions to resolve computer problems. Typical assistance concerns the use of computer hardware and software, printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.

This position will be onsite in Ridgefield Park, NJ

What We Need & What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Possess the ability to communicate in both oral and written forms, demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff as well as clients
  • Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints
  • Know the technology inside and out so that you can answer questions
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support
  • Follow current processes and procedures set forth by the client
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all IT equipment for the Executive Team and their Direct Reports
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and MAC OS
  • Working knowledge of PC and Laptop Hardware
  • Knowledge of Mobile Devices

Who You Are (Qualifications)

  • A+ Certification
  • Vendor Certification (Dell, Lenovo, Lexmark)
  • 3+ Years of experience in a corporate environment
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Desktop Support Experience
