KBR is seeking an engineer to support the US Department of Defense’s cutting edge air defense systems. The engineer will work daily with sensitive documentation, make determinations for dissemination and protection of the data, access data management systems to record results, and interface with the KBR team to discuss results. In addition, this role will require the candidate to interface with US government personnel to discuss the data processed, review errors and anomalies, and make recommendations to solve any issues. The ideal candidate will be able to apply statistical methods to their data to find trends quantifying their decisions. The duties of this position require the candidate to review technical data and identify and track protected critical technology. Candidates with a firm understanding of US technical data packages, sensitive technology and the standards and methods the DoD uses to protect them are desired. Job Requirements :

US citizen

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

5+ years of experience working in a US Government engineering environment

Capable of independent data analysis identifying trends and minimizing redundancies

Individual contributor within a DOD Systems Engineering program lifecycle

Experience protecting classified data, technology and / or information systems

Preferred Experience :

• Creating technical drawings; reviewing and interpreting specifications
• Controls and reviews data to assign or derive classification level
• Supported Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs
• Proficient in programming in a language that facilitates analysis on data sets
