Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in assembly, testing, or a related technical role.
Experience building wire harnesses from drawings and wiring electrical outlets.
Proficiency in building from schematics / CAD and working with T-slot extrusion, Unistrut, or related materials.
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Experience with large-scale building tools (e.g., table saws, power tools, industrial wiring).
Comfortable with electronics tools (e.g., oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies) and tinkering with electronics.
Experience with rapid prototyping tools (e.g., 3D printers, laser cutters).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand testing requirements and specifications.
Utilize technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately assemble test rigs and fixtures.
Building Test Rigs : Construct and assemble test rigs to facilitate testing and Failure Mode Analysis (FMA) of various components and systems.
Building Testing Tools : Develop and build testing tools to support debugging efforts, ensuring efficient and accurate identification of issues.
Supporting Fixture Builds : Assist in the construction and assembly of fixtures used in the production and testing processes.
Maintaining Stock : Manage and maintain an inventory of commonly used custom cables and devices, ensuring availability for ongoing projects.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of testing equipment and tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test rigs, fixtures, and testing tools.
Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of inventory and stock levels.
