These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX10, Arizona’s preeminent source for news, is seeking a talented, passionate, creative, and collaborative Weather Anchor to join our dynamic team! As part of the FOX family, you will receive generous time off, 401k matching, a wealth of employee resources and superior medical, dental and vision benefits from day 1! Will be required to prepare and present compelling weather reports utilizing state-of-the-art technology for use on-air and online. Must show ability to create and present interesting weathercasts specific to current and future events, report live in the elements and collaborate with the newsroom on weather events. Experience with WSI Max Weather and a degree in meteorology a plus. Candidates must show strong proficiency on-air as well as an established social media presence / engagement. Will be required to producer weather centric and human interest stories as needed. Must be able to produce and present live coverage of feature reports or special events. Participation in station sponsored community events will be required.

College degree and minimum 3 years on air experience on broadcast television. Must be able to obtain an Arizona driver’s license & provide a Motor Vehicle Report and rive a vehicle. Local travel required. Varied hours, weekends and holidays required. Proficiency with newsroom computers and related software required.
