Nulixir, a nano-biotechnology start-up, is a VC-backed business-to-business (B2B) company that develops, manufactures, and licenses intellectual property (IP) for smart nanocarriers, called nanovesicles, which optimize the performance of functional ingredients in food & beverage products. Nulixir, as the Function HouseTM, is revolutionizing the functional ingredient space by introducing a realm of functionality and shaping the future of intelligent food. This patented technology (70+ patents) has applications across multiple verticals in food and beverage (e.g., nootropics, energy stimulants, vitamins, probiotics, protein, etc.).
Founded in 2019, the company brought together a team of CPG leaders, cancer researchers, US attorneys, and nutritionists to overcome long-standing challenges in the Food and Beverage Industry. The firm’s founder has extensive experience in the development of nanocarriers for cancer therapeutics.
In the past-year, Nulixir sales have grown ~8x with strong interest from small, mid-size and many large CPG companies to partner with Nulixir and incorporate the technology in their products. Nulixir boasts an impressive board of senior executives from companies like Pepsi, Danone, McKinsey & Company, Paine Schwartz Partners, etc. The company currently has 30+ employees with a stellar executive team who come from food B2B companies such as ADM, Givaudan, Kerry, and ex-MBB consultants.
Position Overview :

We are seeking an enthusiastic and visionary Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and help us drive the next wave of growth.
In this role, you will help the C-suite in managing the relationship with the clients and the company's strategy regarding social media platforms. The ideal candidate has an interest in learning about representing the company and will be able to juggle constantly changing priorities, handle a wide range of administrative and executive support in a high-pressure environment and be able to work well within a team.

This position will be at our HQ facilities located in the Austin, TX Metropolitan Area.
In this critically important role, you will be responsible for :
A : Establishing Nulixir’s B2B marketing engagement that drives a superior customer experience
- Build and manage a marketing budget
- Create and deliver customer facing presentations and innovative stories, tailoring value propositions to specific customer, product category, and market needs
- Identify and create supporting customer facing collateral to be used by sales personnel that highlight the benefits of Nulixir
- Develop a robust and feasible marketing plan and oversee its day-to-day implementation
- Build relevant product and service offering materials (key enablers, product catalogs, etc.) to enable Sales team in achieving their growth targets
B : Establishing Nulixir brand as market leading B2B functional ingredient and Function House
Build the Nulixir brand awareness across the food and beverage industries by establishing a distinctive brand look and feel that effectively communicates the Nulixir value propositionBuild brand and sub-brand strategy and drive trademark strategy across all marketing channelsEstablish collaborative network of skilled professionals that can resourcefully support Nulixir creative requirementsDesign and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR, and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.)C : Driving Nulixir strategy through market insights
Conduct market sizing analysis and extract insights to support Nulixir’s strategic directionBuild in-depth market and consumer understanding of target product verticalsIncorporate insights from market trends and trend drivers into company strategic vision and consumer interactionsIdentify market white spaces and ideate new product directions through concept creationRelevant Job Experiences, Skills, and Key requirements for this role :
