Job description

Countertop Installer Helper

  • Job Type : Temp-to-Hire
  • Location : Downtown Tulsa, OK
  • Pay : $20+ per hour (DOE)
  • Shift : Monday–Friday, 7 : 30 AM–4 : 00 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Transport, load, and unload countertop materials safely to and from job sites.
  • Install countertops, backsplashes, and related fixtures according to project specifications.
  • Cut, shape, and fit countertops on-site as needed using power and hand tools.
  • Secure countertops with adhesives, brackets, and other fasteners for a stable installation.
  • Take precise field measurements to ensure an accurate fit before installation.
  • Review blueprints, templates, and work orders to confirm project requirements.
  • Make on-site adjustments to ensure a perfect fit.
  • Inspect finished installations for proper alignment, stability, and a polished appearance.
  • Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction with the final installation.
  • Address any modifications or issues required during installation.
  • Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines , including proper lifting techniques and equipment handling.
  • Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work vehicles.
  • Ensure job sites are clean and free of debris after installation.

    • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with granite, quartz, marble, laminate, or solid surfaces (preferred).
  • Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings .
  • Skilled in using power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and polishers.
  • Comfortable lifting and carrying heavy countertop materials (50–100 lbs.).
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship .
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills .
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if using a company vehicle).
  • Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality .
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized .

    • Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl .
  • Frequently required to lift and / or move 50–100 lbs.
  • Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts .
  • Occasional exposure to hot, cold, wet, and humid conditions .
