Description
Seeking a highly self-motivated individual for a Field Service / Installation Technician in the Wisconsin Statistical areas. The associate will be responsible for traveling to various customer locations and installing company laboratory instrumentation. The associate will also provide maintenance training and user instructions on instrument upkeep. The service technician will perform all preventative maintenance and repairs necessary to sustain operation on all instruments installed. Perform repairs to board / part level and run instrument performance tests. Make recommendations as required. Travel to customers’ locations throughout the service region. Receives and acts on customer installation or repairs / PMs immediately after receiving information from the service office. Arrives at customer promptly, installs or repairs company instrumentation. Run all tests required to ensure proper operation. Completes all paperwork about service calls and immediately forwards to proper locations. Keep in contact with the service supervisor each day. Answer all customer questions to the best of your ability or put the customer in touch with someone who can. Responsible for making all travel arrangements. If delays are encountered contact the customer and estimate the time of arrival.
Requirements :
2-4 years of electronic troubleshooting experience.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Ability to travel and represent company positively and professionally.
