We are seeking a dedicated and engaging Chorus Teacher to lead weekly choral instruction for our 2nd-6th grade students , helping them develop their voices, confidence, and appreciation for music through group singing.
Position Overview :
The Chorus Teacher will lead a weekly choral class designed to introduce students to vocal technique, group singing, rhythm, pitch, and performance skills . This educator should be passionate about student-centered, collaborative music-making and able to inspire a love for singing while incorporating diverse musical traditions and cultural perspectives .
This role is a fixed, weekly commitment with the potential for additional programming and performances.
Schedule & Compensation :
Key Responsibilities :
Teach students proper vocal techniques, breath control, pitch accuracy, and harmony .
Foster a joyful, collaborative choral experience where every student feels included and valued.
Guide students in preparing seasonal performances and community presentations .
Introduce students to songs that reflect historical and contemporary social movements .
