At the present time, vacancies exist for summer Reading Specialists for extended school year (ESY) programming within the Division of Student Services of the Chester County Intermediate Unit.

Qualifications :

• Valid PA Reading Specialist certification required
• Wilson reading level 1 certification preferred
• Current, within one year, police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required

Duties & Responsibilities :

Applicants will be expected to develop and implement an individual instructional program for students and coordinate the student's program with the basic education staff.

Salary : (based on years of experience)

Steps 1-5 (0-13 years experience) = $37.00 per hour

Steps 6-10 (14-28 years experience) = $42.00 per hour

Steps 11-16 (29+ years experience) = $47.00 per hour

Dates and Hours : Dates and hours will vary by school district.

Locations : TBD within Chester County
