Job description

A well-established company in the building materials industry is looking for a full-time Architectural Sales Representative to join the team in Sun Valley, CA . In this role, you will promote products to architects, specifiers, designers, engineers, and other professionals within the AEC community. You will serve as a trusted resource, providing technical guidance and ensuring our products are specified in various projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical and specification support to design professionals, ensuring our products align with project needs.
  • Conduct educational sessions on product use and applicability.
  • Represent the company at industry events, association meetings, and trade shows.
  • Monitor market trends, building codes, and technical advancements related to our products.
  • Generate project information for sales leads.
  • Participate in the development of design and specification resources.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree (Architecture / Engineering preferred but not required) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience in architectural sales, product specification, or technical consulting.
  • Experience with Trimble SketchUp, Autodesk Revit, and BIM processes is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    • Work Environment Physical Demands :

  • Office-based role with regular travel to client sites and industry events.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs when required.
