CNC Machinist / Programmer

Location : Ferndale, MI 48220

Pay : $25 / hr

Shift : 1st Shift, Monday – Friday

Cardinal Staffing is immediately hiring for a CNC Programmer / Machinist at our precision machining facility in Ferndale, MI. We specialize in high-quality, precision components for various industries and are looking for a skilled professional to join our team.

Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist / Programmer :

  • Program and operate CNC machines (grinders, lathes, mills, etc.) following engineering specifications.
  • Load and unload parts from CNC machines while ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Read and interpret technical blueprints and work instructions.
  • Perform quality checks on machined parts to ensure they meet required tolerances.
  • Use manual, electric, and air hand tools to complete machining tasks.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment in compliance with company policies.
  • Support company quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications of the CNC Machinist / Programmer :

  • Experience with CNC programming and machine operation required.
  • Blueprint reading experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) and machining tools.
  • Ability to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
