Job Summary :

Supermicro is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Manager, Key Components. As the market leader in professional server solutions, Supermicro is looking to hire someone who is passionate about managing the supply chain of one of the most critical server components. This is a fast-moving industry. Successful candidates will be able to move and adapt quickly to changing needs and manage multiple initiatives with internal and external stakeholders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Lead a team of 3-5 direct reports and drive coordinated effort across 2 other global geo-sites.
• Develop and execute purchasing strategies with assigned vendors to support company product lines and meet revenue targets.
• Review and determine inventory level, based on Program Management Team's build plan, consumption data and product trends, to ensure optimal inventory mix and level for stock on hand as well as forecast and allocations with suppliers.
• Initiate and drive NPI process to timely SKU up new products, by monitoring supplier product roadmaps and closely working with Product Development and Management Teams.
• Work with Cost Team to help determine general and deal-specific pricing strategies.
• Work as an individual contributor to manage all supply-chain aspects of assigned SKUs.
• Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications :

Salary Range

120,000 - $144,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
