Job description

Reed College seeks a welcoming, resourceful person to be our next Operations Coordinator in our Health and Counseling Center. The Operations Coordinator excels at customer service and communicates clearly and calmly with students. This role provides administrative and operational support to the medical team and reports to the Director of Medical Services Director. This is not a remote position.

Pay offers are dependent on experience and are determined in conjunction with an internal pay equity assessment. This is a non-exempt position on a grade NE-5.

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome individuals to the Health and Counseling Center (HCC) in person, over the phone, via electronic correspondence and direct urgent and emergent situations appropriately in a timely manner
  • Ensure that each student patient has complete and current informed consent, insurance, and other applicable documentation on file prior to the start of their triage whether in-person or via telehealth visit.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Services Director to set and manage the medical team’s appointments and schedules
  • Maintain and manage confidentiality of patient and department records through adherence to procedures
  • Perform general office duties. Maintain general office upkeep and cleanliness
  • Maintain and update the HCC website content and student health portal content
  • Coordinate special projects e.g. student insurance, health promotion with director of medical services
  • Act as a liaison with other campus departments
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in operations or administrative roles
