Job Title : Acquisition Associate

Position Overview : The Acquisition Associate will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and executing real estate investment opportunities. This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of real estate markets, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Investment Underwriting : Conducts detailed financial analysis and underwriting of potential acquisition opportunities, including cash flow projections, risk assessment, and return analysis.
  • Market Research : Performs comprehensive market, economic, and demographic research to evaluate potential investment markets and competitive properties.
  • Due Diligence : Manages the due diligence process, including site inspections, reviewing third-party reports, and coordinating with legal and financial advisors.
  • Deal Sourcing : Develops and maintains relationships with brokers, property owners, and other market participants to source new investment opportunities.
  • Investment Committee Presentations : Prepares and presents investment memoranda and other materials to the investment committee for review and approval.
  • Transaction Management : Assists in the negotiation and execution of purchase and sale agreements, financing arrangements, and other transaction-related documents.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field.
  • Experience : 2-4 years of experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, or a related field. Experience with multifamily assets is preferred.
  • Skills :
  • Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in ARGUS and other real estate software is a plus
