We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Inventory Specialist in Las Vegas, Nevada. The inventory specialist is primarily focused on managing inventory and warehousing in the telecommunications and construction industry. The workplace setting is admin-heavy within a warehouse, mostly computer-based, with occasional visits to warehouses in different locations. The ideal inventory specialist will have experience in inventory management with exposure to Dynamics Business Central.
Responsibilities :
- Efficiently coordinating with teams across different time zones and adjusting schedules as needed.
- Managing inventory control and complex data management using spreadsheet software, including the creation of purchasing models and inventory reports.
- Maintaining a high level of technical proficiency, especially in spreadsheet software and Business Central 365.
- Demonstrating strong organizational and critical-thinking skills in managing day-to-day tasks.
- Communicating and visiting warehouses in various locations on a monthly basis.
- Demonstrating a strong ability to work independently while aligning with team goals.
- Demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and accountability in completing tasks.
- Utilizing your background in construction or telecommunications to manage inventory and warehousing operations.
- Regularly processing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate customer credit records.
- Excellent communication skills for effective and clear interaction with team members and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using Dynamics 365 Business Central for managing inventory and related operations.
- Knowledge of telecommunications and its role in inventory management.
- Familiarity with construction processes and their impact on inventory management.
- Experience in asset inventory handling and management.
- Knowledge and experience in warehousing operations.
- Ability to implement and maintain effective inventory control measures.
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel for inventory data management and report generation.
- Ability to create detailed and accurate inventory reports.
- Excellent organizational skills for efficient inventory management.
- Strong critical thinking skills to solve inventory-related issues and make important decisions.
