We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our accounting team! This position will be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, payroll processing, system administration, and supporting various financial operations. You will work closely with our accounting software systems (NetSuite, FloQast, Paylocity) and collaborate across teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This is the ideal role for someone who prioritizes accuracy and efficiency, has strong Excel skills, and values robust internal controls.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Full-time W2 position, work core U.S. business hours in your time zone

Work from your home office

Travel is required for an all-company meeting, and may be required once or twice per year for team meetings

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare all monthly balance sheet reconciliations on a timely basis and maintain strong controls and sufficiently detailed supporting documentation.

Prepare monthly payroll and related journal entries to support monthly financial close process.

Serve as system administrator in FloQast close management system. Meet with vendor quarterly to review new releases and make recommendations for use cases to the team.

Support treasury operations by collaborating with banking partner and preparing weekly cash reporting for ownership.

Assist with semi-monthly payroll processing in Paylocity.

Support accounting team with creating customer invoices, processing and posting payments, and interacting with customers via email.

Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes, procedures and accounting assumptions, particularly related to the balance sheet. Recommend and assist in process improvements to improve internal controls.

Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new software solutions and systems.

Work on projects and support other areas of the finance team as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting

3+ years accounting experience

Strong understanding of GAAP

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Ability to remain flexible in a constantly changing environment, while demonstrating strong planning and prioritization skills

Tech-savvy, comfortable navigating various systems, including AI tools

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a team-oriented mentality is a must

NetSuite General Ledger experience preferred
