Job description

Job Title : Sr IT Systems Analyst

Location : Memphis, TN

Duration : 12 Months with Possible extension

Pay Rate : $45- $50 / hr

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Analyst to lead business analysis efforts for large-scale implementations and multi-line projects. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and documenting user needs, providing technical and business insights, and mentoring junior analysts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with external clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the requirements management process for large projects, including new client implementations and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive requirements management plan.
  • Identify and engage stakeholders, facilitating meetings and discussions as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers, IT teams, business representatives, and clients to ensure a thorough understanding of software requirements.
  • Provide business-related IT knowledge and insights to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including process diagrams, report mock-ups, wireframes, and written requirements.
  • Ensure timely completion of deliverables while adhering to project timelines.
  • Mentor and support junior business analysts.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Support the organization's quality initiatives.
  • Travel as required.
  • Qualifications

    Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree required (preferably in Computer Science or a related field).
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in IT systems analysis or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in multi-line claims management processes and system requirements is strongly preferred.
  • Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of third-party administration and claims management business and technology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to meet or exceed performance expectations.
