Job Summary

The Art Institute of Chicago has relaunched their dining facilities at the museum in partnership with culinary leaders Levy and Boka Restaurant Group. The shared vision of these three iconic Chicago brands are working to transform the food and beverage experience at the museum and are looking to add the best individuals to our team.

Daily operations include food and beverage service of The Café, Modern Bar in the Modern Wing, and The Member Bar at Terzo Piano. You will also find additional opportunities to help us host world class events in this iconic location.

Summary : Delivers and serves food to guests and assisting servers as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Serves guests beverages and replenishes as necessary; assists servers with food and beverage service.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Performs all assigned side work, including replenishing condiments and restocking side stands.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Serves guests beverages and replenishes as necessary; assists servers with food and beverage service.
