Job Description
We are seeking a Marine / Mechanical Engineer to support a critical program for NOAA and its Fleet Efforts. In this role, you will assist engineers and program managers with calculations, designs, and studies of piping, pump, fire, and water systems. You will perform preliminary ship design studies, piping calculations for various systems, develop requirements, and conduct cost estimations, as well as engineering calculations, analysis, and validations.

Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid environment with 2-3 days onsite and occasional travel. The office is located in Silver Spring, very close to a Metro stop, providing a dynamic team environment with opportunities to expand beyond traditional roles.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $57.69 / hr.
