We are currently seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide exceptional services at the Memphis Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC). Primary Purpose :

Forte Human Capital, Inc. shall provide Board Certified / Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician Services on-site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Memphis VAMC. The services provided must meet or exceed the guidelines established by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM).

Minimum Education / Certification Qualifications :

  • License : The physician(s) assigned must have a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.

Physicians with restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action, or denied licenses will not be considered.

  • Board Certification : All physicians must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine through ABEM, ACEP, or AOBEM.
  • Certifications : Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association or an equivalent organization.
  • Major Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in the emergency department at Memphis VAMC.
  • Adhere to the clinical guidelines and standards set forth by ACEP, ABEM, or AOBEM.
  • Ensure all medical practices comply with VA regulations and policies.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
